Gates Mectrol - a leading manufacturer of timing belts - needed a database application for their website. An enhanced Online Searchable Catalog with Search Engine like functionality to allow customers to narrow down the choices based on various selection of features. Additionally to act as a design tool so that the customer could get the recommended pulley dimensions and assembled 3d SolidWorks drawings of part and the timing belts.
